Softball Recap: Palmview Comes Up Short

Palmview fell victim to Rio Grande City and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Rattlers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rattlers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in February.

Palmview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marina Rodriguez, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Palmview and nudges their season record down to 10-7. As for Rio Grande City, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Palmview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 13-3 victory against Mission Veterans Memorial on the 8th. As for Rio Grande City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-0 win against Martin on the 4th.
