Soccer Recap: Eastmark Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Eastmark's offense. They fell just short of the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos by a score of 1-0 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Firebirds have lost by just one goal.

Eastmark now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for La Joya Community, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastmark will challenge Flagstaff at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastmark's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for La Joya Community, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sierra Linda at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th.
