Pinecrest Academy Cadence not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Canyon Springs Pioneers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won six in a row.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence never let Canyon Springs on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-22.

Zanai Jackson paced Pinecrest Academy Cadence's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jackson got some help from Cali Wellington and her 23 assists. Isabelle Arnold controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Canyon Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Coming up, Pinecrest Academy Cadence will challenge Innovations International at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon Springs, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on October 8.
