Volleyball Recap: Sherwood Takes a Loss

Sherwood's tournament run continued when they took on Oak Park on Saturday. The Marksmen fell 2-0 to the Northmen.

Sherwood's offense was headlined by Aubrey McCulloh and Kiah Felton, who picked up four kills apiece. McCulloh really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven.

Sherwood has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Oak Park, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9-1.

Sherwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Osceola on the 29th. As for Oak Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Chrisman on the 27th.
