Basketball Recap: Hiland Comes Up Short

Hiland and Monroe Central squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hiland had to settle for second. They came up short against the Monroe Central Seminoles, falling 54-33. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Hiland's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3. As for Monroe Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

As of now, neither Hiland nor Monroe Central have any future games scheduled.
