Basketball Game Preview: Crofton vs. Annapolis Panthers

Crofton will head out to take on the Annapolis Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Crofton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 67-44 margin over Northeast on Friday. The score was close at the half, but Crofton pulled away in the second half with 41 points.

Meanwhile, Annapolis hadn't done well against Broadneck recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Annapolis snuck past Broadneck with a 41-37 win.

Annapolis' victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Crofton, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-2.

Crofton ended up a good deal behind Annapolis when the teams last played back in December of 2024, losing 45-29. Can Crofton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
