Choctawhatchee put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Arnold Marlins 40-7. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Indians just coasted through the last quarter.

Choctawhatchee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tamen Zabetakis, who threw for 117 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 69 yards on only six carries. Those four passing touchdowns gave Zabetakis a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Carter Marracco, who gained 128 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Choctawhatchee was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 376 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Choctawhatchee's defense and their four sacks. Leading the way was Jabari Weeks with two. Another thorn in Arnold's side was Mario Alloway, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Choctawhatchee's record now sits at 6-0. As for Arnold, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Choctawhatchee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 38-6 win against South Walton on the 3rd. As for Arnold, they have also already played their next matchup, a 28-21 victory against Walton on the 3rd.
