Softball Recap: Stewart County Comes Up Short

Stewart County fell victim to Henry County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 9-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Rebels were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Stewart County and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for Henry County, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Coincidentally, Stewart County and Henry County will both be playing Dresden the next time they take the field. The Rebels will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
