Basketball Game Preview: Crisp County Cougars vs. Tattnall County Warriors

The Crisp County Cougars will face off against the Tattnall County Warriors at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Crisp County comes in on seven and Tattnall County on three.

Crisp County saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They came out on top against Pierce County by a score of 61-51. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Bears are ranked 400th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Tattnall County made off with a 40-39 victory over Appling County.

Tattnall County pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Crisp County, their record now sits at 21-5.

Crisp County came out on top in a nail-biter against Tattnall County in their previous matchup last Wednesday, sneaking past 48-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crisp County since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
