The Queen's Grant Stallions will take on the Oak City Prep Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Queen's Grant is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season.

On Tuesday, Queen's Grant came up short against Providence Day and fell 52-42. The contest marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite their defeat, Queen's Grant saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Casey Smith, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Za'Miya Bynum, who posted ten points in addition to six rebounds and four blocks.

Meanwhile, Oak City Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 69-59 to Chapel Hill.

Queen's Grant will have to contain Sami Ward as she made an impact in Oak City Prep's last game. She dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Bree Shojgreen was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Oak City Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Queen's Grant, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Queen's Grant has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Oak City Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.7 rebounds.
