Pierce County won the last time they faced Brantley County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears walked away with a 2-0 win over the Herons.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pierce County took both sets by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10.

Pierce County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Brantley County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Pierce County and Brantley County will both be playing Tattnall County the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Herons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
