Volleyball Recap: Hopewell Valley Central Takes a Loss

Hopewell Valley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rancocas Valley Red Devils.

Hopewell Valley Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Rancocas Valley, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Hopewell Valley Central will head out to take on Northern Burlington at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rancocas Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Augustine Prep on the 9th.
