Basketball Recap: Paintsville Comes Up Short

Paintsville lost against Pike County Central back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Paintsville Tigers took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pike County Central Hawks.

Paintsville's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Pike County Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Paintsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pike County Central, they will welcome Lawrence County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
