Baseball Recap: Tennessee Heat Comes Up Short

Tennessee Heat was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ezell-Harding Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 last Monday.

Tennessee Heat's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-4.

Tennessee Heat will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middle Tennessee Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles challenge Cane Ridge Ravens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
