Volleyball Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

After flying high against South on Thursday, Peninsula came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Woodbridge Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Woodbridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peninsula will square off against Mira Costa at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodbridge, they will challenge Portola at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
