Football Recap: Southeast Alamance Takes a Loss

The Southeast Alamance Stallions came up short against the Williams Bulldogs on Friday, falling 41-21. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Southeast Alamance saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyler Jackson threw for 282 yards and three TDs. 125 of those passing yards were hauled in by Jatayvion McMillian, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Kyrian Fuller produced another solid performance rushing for 153 yards and one score on only five carries, while also throwing for 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Williams. Those 174 passing yards gave Fuller a new career-high. Amarion Richmond also helped out as he racked up 117 rushing yards.

Southeast Alamance's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Williams, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Southeast Alamance will face off against Graham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Stallions will be up against the Red Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Williams, they will take on Eastern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
