Basketball Recap: Bellevue Comes Up Short

Bellevue was the 59-55 winner over St. Henry when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bellevue Tigers lost 56-30 to the St. Henry Crusaders on Monday. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bellevue's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11. As for St. Henry, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellevue will welcome Boone County at 7:30 p.m. on February 10th. As for St. Henry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Scott at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Scott knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully St. Henry likes a good challenge.
