Soccer Recap: Olympian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Olympian came into Tuesday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bonita Vista Barons on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Barons back in January, they had to take a 7-0 defeat.

Daunte Rowe and Carlos Juarez Martinez scored both of Olympian's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Olympian's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-16-2. As for Bonita Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-3.

Olympian is taking a road trip to face off against Hilltop at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bonita Vista, they will welcome Eastlake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bonita Vista's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
