Baseball Recap: Portland Comes Up Short

Portland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-1 to the Hamilton Southeastern Royals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Portland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Hamilton Southeastern, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Portland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-6 victory against Clinton on the 5th. As for Hamilton Southeastern, they have also already played their next match, a 7-6 loss against Halls on the 5th.
