Volleyball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Hanover-Horton Comets. If the Mounties were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Comets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Hanover-Horton, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1.

Northwest has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Michigan Center on the 20th. As for Hanover-Horton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Concord on the 20th.
