Basketball Recap: Everton Comes Up Short

Everton won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 78-8 loss at the hands of the Chadwick Cardinals. The Tigers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Garrett Tindle was Everton's leading scorer, having posted six points. Zayn Powers took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Everton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Chadwick, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 76-38 defeat against Varsity Opponent on the 23rd. As for Chadwick, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Montgomery County at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
