After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Miller Career Academy, Metro was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers an 8-0 shutout. Considering Metro have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Metro's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Bishop DuBourg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Metro will take on Maplewood-Richmond Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop DuBourg, they will head out to face off against Veritas Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
