Soccer Recap: Mountain Heritage Takes a Loss

If Mountain Heritage was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Draughn last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell just short of the North Henderson Knights by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

Mountain Heritage's goal came courtesy of Andie Barefoot, who's now up to two this season.

Mountain Heritage has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-2 record this season. As for North Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Mountain Heritage will host NCSSM: Morganton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Henderson, they will head out on the road to take on Pisgah at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
