Basketball Game Preview: Ballinger Bearcats vs. Colorado Wolves

Ballinger and Colorado are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Ballinger Bearcats will host the Colorado Wolves at 8:01 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Ballinger's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Colorado has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road.

Last Tuesday, Ballinger was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 65-61 to Roscoe. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1091st, while the Plowboys are ranked 508th).

Meanwhile, Colorado came up short against Bangs on Tuesday and fell 47-34.

Ballinger's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Colorado, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Everything came up roses for Ballinger against Colorado in their previous meeting on January 7th, as the team secured a 75-26 victory. Does Ballinger have another victory up their sleeve, or will Colorado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
