Basketball Recap: Page Takes a Loss

Page lost against Northern Guilford back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Page Pirates received a blow as they fell 63-49 to the Northern Guilford Nighthawks.

Page now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Northern Guilford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Page and Southwest Guilford will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Southwest Guilford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Page likes a good challenge. As for Northern Guilford, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ragsdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northern Guilford is facing Ragsdale at the right time seeing as Ragsdale is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
