League recap: Cordia's Mullins delivers best pitching performance from past week

Josh Mullins was the best pitcher in the league this week. He accumulated one win and 19 strikeouts.

Matt Lucas was on fire this week, as he led the league with a .467 average with eight RBIs. Cordia compiled a record of 1-4 in that time.

The Lions' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 37 hits and 19 walks to lead the league in both categories. Cordia has given up a mere 212 hits on the year in addition to compiling 214 strikeouts. Mullins is the leader in that category with 78 Ks on the season.

The Lions stole 29 bases this week, adding to their league-leading 126 steals on the year. Given the green light by manager Joel Melton, Mullins has racked up 48 steals on his own this season for Cordia.

The Lions' Lucas led the league with seven hits this week. His 28 hits for the year are second in the league, and he boasts a .329 batting average.
