Basketball Recap: Aurora Huskies vs. Gretna East Griffins
Aurora has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gretna East Griffins on Monday.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Booker Scheierman, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 17 boards. The dominant performance gave Scheierman a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Canon Allen, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 13 points.
