Basketball Game Preview: John Paul II Golden Warrriors vs. Wilson Hall Barons

The John Paul II Golden Warrriors will face off against the Wilson Hall Barons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson Hall took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on John Paul II, who comes in off a win.

John Paul II will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Bethesda Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. John Paul II secured a 49-43 W over Bethesda Academy back in December of 2024. Given the Golden Warrriors' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 78th in South Carolina, while the Blazers are ranked 204th in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Wilson Hall opened the new year with a less-than-successful 62-55 loss to Bluffton.

The victory made it two in a row for John Paul II and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Wilson Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
