Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tyler Groh and Eric Resendez Lead St. Patrick to Victory

St. Patrick won the last time they faced Payton College Prep and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Shamrocks came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Shamrocks.

St. Patrick easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13.

St. Patrick was led to victory by Eric Resendez and Tyler Groh. Resendez had 14 assists and eight digs, while Groh had nine digs and four assists. That's the most digs Groh has posted since back in April.

The victory got St. Patrick back to even at 12-12. As for Payton College Prep, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-17.

Coming up, St. Patrick will be playing in front of their home fans against Marian Catholic at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Payton College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
