Basketball Recap: Argyle Comes Up Short

Argyle played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 60-35 to the Bolton Central Eagles. The Scots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

Bolton Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadynn Egloff, who posted 28 points. The contest was Egloff's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maille Kelley, who scored 18 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Argyle and nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Bolton Central, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Argyle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-29 defeat against Cambridge on the 27th. Bolton Central has also already played their next match, a 73-39 win against Indian Lake Central on the 28th.
