The South Plaquemines Hurricanes's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 62-56 W over Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antonio Castro, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Christian Rogan, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
South Plaquemines' victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
