West Middlesex hadn't beaten Mercer on the road since May 23, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Big Reds walked away with a 10-5 win over the Mustangs. For the Big Reds, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Roman Golub was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Kameron Miles was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

West Middlesex was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mercer only posted a batting average of .318.

The win made it two in a row for West Middlesex and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Mercer, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Middlesex will welcome Sharpsville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
