Coeur d'Alene faced Lake City in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vikings' defense stepped up to hand the Timberwolves a 3-0 shutout. Considering Coeur d'Alene have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ethan Luna and Jacob Shaporda scored all three of Coeur d'Alene's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The win made it two in a row for Coeur d'Alene and bumps their season record up to 10-4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matches. As for Lake City, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1.
