Baseball Recap: McLoud Takes a Loss

Harrah hit McLoud with a five-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Redskins came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redskins of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Justus Rooker spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and ten unearned) runs on seven hits.

McLoud's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Harrah, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coincidentally, McLoud and Harrah will both be playing North Rock Creek the next time they take the field. The Panthers will head out to face the Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, while the Redskins will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
