Baseball Recap: B-G-M Comes Up Short

If B-G-M was feeling good fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Colfax-Mingo on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. B-G-M took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Danville on Thursday. B-G-M was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Danville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

B-G-M has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. Danville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8.

B-G-M has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Keota on the 13th. As for Danville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Notre Dame on the 12th.
