Soccer Recap: Union Comes Up Short

If Union was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rosewood last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Union came up short against the North Duplin Rebels on Tuesday, falling 4-1. Union fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against North Duplin since on Tuesday.

Union's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for North Duplin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
