Softball Recap: Hinsdale South Comes Up Short

If Hinsdale South was riding high fresh off their 20-0 takedown of Proviso East on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell just short of the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Hornets have suffered since March 22nd.

Hanna Crumpler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.
