Flag Football Game Preview: Lowndes Vikings vs. Irwin County Indians

The Lowndes Vikings will face off against the Irwin County Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lowndes' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so Irwin County's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Lowndes strolled past Valdosta with points to spare, taking the game 25-6. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 110th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Irwin County can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Cook by a score of 26-13. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lowndes' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Irwin County, their win bumped their record up to 2-10.
