Softball Recap: Northwest Area Rangers vs. Benton Tigers
Northwest Area got themselves on the board against Benton on Monday, but Benton never followed suit. They didn't even let the Tigers on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Jenna Robaczewski made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.
