Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tatum Cranford and Katie Furno Lead Forbush to Victory + How To Watch

Forbush had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt Mount Tabor on Wednesday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 54-30 victory. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.

Leading Forbush to victory were Katie Furno and Tatum Cranford. Furno posted 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Cranford put up 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marly Moss, who had five points.

Despite the loss, Mount Tabor had strong showings from Kayden Grayson, who earned 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals, and Amani Morris, who scored seven points. Grayson is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Forbush's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mount Tabor, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forbush will square off against Elkin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount Tabor, they will challenge West Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
