Baseball Recap: Whitesboro's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Whitesboro came into Friday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Callisburg Wildcats 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bearcats have posted since March 6th.

Whitesboro's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Callisburg, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitesboro will head out to take on Valley View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Callisburg, they are taking a road trip to challenge Paradise at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.5, the Panthers 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
