Softball Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Oroville's offense. They came up short against the Las Plumas Thunderbirds on Friday, falling 26-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Oroville's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Las Plumas, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Coming up, Oroville will head out to take on Durham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Las Plumas, they will be taking part in a tournament against Antelope at 9:15 a.m. on Monday. The Thunderbirds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
