Soccer Game Preview: Cedar vs. Spanish Fork

The Cedar Reds will be taking part in a tournament against the Spanish Fork Dons at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Cedar fell victim to Westlake and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Thunder, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Spanish Fork didn't have quite enough to beat Hillcrest on Friday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Dons have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Max Seeley, which was the first he's scored this season.

Cedar took their victory against Spanish Fork in their previous meeting back in March of 2017 by a conclusive 5-1. Will Cedar repeat their success, or does Spanish Fork have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
