Football Recap: Gregory Jackson and David Parson Pace Union Grove Defense + How To Watch

Union Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Locust Grove Wildcats. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Although Union Grove took the loss, they still got scores from Jaylon Brown and Marquis Weeks.

Even if they lost, Union Grove's defense still kept up the pressure with seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Gregory Jackson and David Parson, who racked up four sacks between them. Jackson is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Brown got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Union Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Locust Grove, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
