Basketball Game Preview: Brooke Point Black Hawks vs. North Stafford Wolverines

Brooke Point and North Stafford are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Brooke Point Black Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the North Stafford Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brooke Point knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully North Stafford likes a good challenge.

On Saturday, Brooke Point came up short against Eastern View and fell 65-55.

Meanwhile, North Stafford also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Colonial Forge by a score of 46-38. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Eagles are ranked 81st).

Brooke Point's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for North Stafford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything came up roses for Brooke Point against North Stafford when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 71-39 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brooke Point since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
