Recap: Immanuel Christian Crusaders vs. Big Pine Warriors
The Immanuel Christian Crusaders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Big Pine 73-33 at home. Immanuel Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Zachary Guevara, who scored 27 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Mathew Guevara, who scored 20 points.
Despite the loss, Big Pine still got an impressive performance from Wil Mairs, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Miller, who scored eight points.
The win (which was Immanuel Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 9-7. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35 points. As for Big Pine, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
Immanuel Christian will head out on the road to challenge Lee Vining at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Big Pine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
