Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Prep Lightning vs. Arete Prep CHARGERS

The Lincoln Prep Lightning and the Arete Prep CHARGERS will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Lincoln Prep is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Lincoln Prep will face Arete Prep after dropping another heartbreaker against Glendale Prep Academy on Thursday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 3.1 of beating them. Lincoln Prep fell 52-39 to Glendale Prep Academy.

Meanwhile, Arete Prep came into Thursday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down North Phoenix Preparatory Academy 71-56 on Thursday.

Lincoln Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Arete Prep, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-12.

Lincoln Prep came up short against Arete Prep in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 54-43. Can Lincoln Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
