Football Recap: Celebration Takes a Loss

Celebration was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lake Region Thunder. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Celebration's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Region, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Celebration will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Space Coast at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Lake Region, they will face off against Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
