Baseball Recap: Ingleside Comes Up Short

Ingleside lost against Calhoun back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ingleside fell 6-2 to Calhoun. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ingleside's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Calhoun, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ingleside will challenge Cuero at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cuero will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ingleside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Calhoun, they will face off against Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
