Volleyball Recap: Vincennes Lincoln Comes Up Short

Vincennes Lincoln lost against Heritage Hills back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Alices fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1. While the Alices didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 25-19 in the first set.

Vincennes Lincoln started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-7, 15-13.

Heritage Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Bumm led the charge by getting five aces and three digs. That's the most digs Bumm has posted since back in August of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Vincennes Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Heritage Hills, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Vincennes Lincoln and Heritage Hills will both be playing Evansville Reitz the next time they take the court. The Alices will head out to face the Panthers at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
